Senior Program Finance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver timely and precise metrics regarding schedule and cost performance utilizing Earned Value Management or similar processes.

• Assist in the creation of baselines and the development of charge numbers and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).

• Update relevant ERP or Cobra tools for programs, regardless of whether they have Earned Value requirements.

• Analyze and report on performance variances against budget, aiding in the formulation of recovery strategies.

• Assess and report on risks and opportunities impacting baseline costs, schedules, and Estimates at Completion (EAC).

• Maintain the Project-Activity Structure along with charge numbers.

• Complete the Estimate at Completion process and assist in time-phased estimate-to-complete updates and the preparation of EAC packages.

• Develop and oversee program-level time-phased plans for revenue forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning (five-year planning).

• Provide financial insights, analysis, and variance narratives for Program Management Reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews.

• Ensure timely invoicing and collection of customer receivables.

• Review and communicate the financial status of programs, including funding and funding that may be subject to cancellation.

• Support finance leadership, Program Managers, Control Account Managers, and Schedulers in achieving program goals.

• Develop and present financial results and key performance indicators, including CDRL/SDRL deliverables.

• Carry out additional duties as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is mandatory.

• A Master's degree is preferred.

• Over 7 years of relevant experience.

• Demonstrated proficiency in applying EVMS principles in daily operations.

• Familiarity with financial controls specific to DoD programs.

• Understanding of CAS/FAR/DFARS regulations.

• Knowledge of various contract types, including FFP, FPIF, CPFF, CPIF, and T&M.

• Understanding of accounting principles, particularly concerning revenue recognition.

• Ability to present complex information effectively to all management levels.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft software applications.

• Strong skills in Excel.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.

• Capacity to complete assignments accurately and punctually.

• Ability to work independently.

• May need to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
