Senior Professional Services Engineer – PubSec

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with public sector clients to facilitate the successful adoption and expansion of GitLab within their organizations.

• Provide installation, migration, training, and advisory services.

• Strategize and implement GitLab deployments, ranging from single-node Omnibus installations to extensive reference architectures.

• Employ infrastructure as code and configuration as code methodologies.

• Supervise and execute migrations to GitLab SaaS or self-managed GitLab solutions.

• Offer technical expertise across the entire GitLab feature stack.

• Work in conjunction with project managers and engagement managers to enhance delivery consistency and ensure timely project completion.

• Manage and oversee multiple customer projects concurrently.

• Guide and support other Professional Services Engineers through mentorship.

• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to eliminate customer obstacles and enhance GitLab features and delivery workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated professional experience with one or more infrastructure as code or configuration as code tools, including Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Puppet, or Chef.

• An active Secrets or TS/SCI clearance is mandatory for this position.

• Willingness to travel to SCIF locations as necessary.

• Preferred locations include DC Metro, GA, TX, AL, CO, or UT.

• Capability to support public sector clients with TS/SCI clearance-specific requirements for their environments and projects.

• Proficiency in leading technical delivery from beginning to end, including discovery, planning, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
