Senior Production Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Achieve or surpass the financial, technical, quality, and scheduling performance goals set by suppliers.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams comprising engineering, quality, and procurement professionals to meet Raytheon and customer objectives.

• Establish and nurture relationships with supplier representatives and executives to enhance supplier performance and ensure organizational alignment.

• Assist in financial planning tasks, including forecasting, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and Estimate at Completion (EAC).

• Lead initiatives for supplier risk management and opportunity identification.

• Create and execute supplier strategies that address current operational execution and future business needs.

• Evaluate and relay supplier metrics to internal stakeholders.

• Offer direct feedback to suppliers to facilitate improvements.

• Identify enhancements in capacity and manufacturing, including necessary supplier investments.

• Ensure the delivery of solid rocket motors that support the Navy and Missile Defense Agency mission capabilities.

• Navigate changes in the Supplier Statement of Work and specifications.

• Willingness to travel domestically up to 50%, with the possibility of some international travel.

⛳️ Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

• Capability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.

• An active and existing DoD Secret security clearance is required starting from day one.

• A University Degree or equivalent experience with at least 12 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 10 years’ experience.

• Previous experience in program or project management.

• Experience with financial processes such as forecasting, budgeting, and profit and loss (P&L) management.

• Willingness to travel domestically up to 50%, with potential for some international travel.
