Programme Manager – Migration & Integrations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Drive the integration of technology and migration for acquired businesses, overseeing the entire process from technical due diligence and integration planning to migration, stabilization, and retirement of legacy platforms.

• Take ownership of the comprehensive program plan that encompasses engineering, product, data, and customer-facing teams.

• Ensure restaurant continuity while monitoring delivery costs and the benefits that have been agreed upon.

• Manage dependencies with Finance, People, Commercial, and other functional stakeholders.

• Control end-to-end program plans that include scope, timelines, dependencies, budget forecasts, and risks.

• Guide workstream leaders in prioritizing tasks and capacity, facilitate governance, and escalate unresolved trade-offs to the CTPO.

• Integrate lessons learned into a repeatable process for migration and integration.

• Provide insights for due diligence by assessing migration complexity, product gaps, dependencies, effort, costs, and delivery risks.

• Develop integration plans and manage Day 1 access, environments, tools, and operational practices.

• Oversee data migration and its integration into data platforms and business systems.

• Segment customers, conduct platform gap analyses, recommend migration waves and sequencing, and manage testing and reconciliation.

• Supervise wave runbooks that include preparation, cutover, validation, rollback, and support.

• Lead recommendations on go/no-go decisions, manage operational handover, and plan for the controlled retirement of legacy systems.

• Align engineering, product, customer-facing, and finance teams around a unified plan and timeline.

• Establish and monitor business cases, migration and parallel-running costs, revenue at risk, savings, and forecast costs to completion.

• Confirm realized benefits and report progress, customer experience, and value delivered to the CTPO and leadership team.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of program management experience within a technology organization, including at least 3 years leading platform migrations, customer migrations, or post-acquisition integrations.

• Proven track record of managing complex, customer-facing platform migrations, involving readiness assessments, cutover, post-migration stabilization, and transition to standard operations.

• Strong technical understanding, including APIs, data pipelines, CRM migrations, cutover plans, and infrastructure decommissioning.

• Experience in segmenting large customer bases into migration waves, complete with detailed runbooks, rollback strategies, hypercare, and clear go/no-go criteria.

• Commercial acumen to evaluate feature-gap costs against revenue at risk and make informed decisions.

• Exceptional stakeholder management skills across engineering, product, commercial, and executive levels.

• Capability to secure commitments, manage competing priorities, and lead delivery without direct line-management authority.

• Proficient in clear and concise written and verbal communication, including executive-level reporting.

• Comfortable collaborating across various countries, cultures, and time zones.

• Experience in SaaS, restaurant technology, food ordering, payments, or marketplaces.

• Familiarity with data platform and CRM migrations.

• Direct experience with post-acquisition integrations and the ability to implement repeatable migration approaches across multiple programs.

• A recognized program management qualification, such as MSP, PRINCE2, or PgMP.
