Senior Product Owner/Manager, Next Best Action Configuration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Facilitate coordination between NBA Product Managers and teams executing action and treatment configurations.

• Convert sanctioned business requirements into standardized, implementation-ready documentation.

• Ensure that actions and treatments are completely defined, documented, and compliant with NBA standards prior to implementation.

• Oversee documentation related to action metadata, eligibility criteria, channel availability, treatments, content references, business rules, and configuration necessities.

• Evaluate requirements for completeness, consistency, and readiness for implementation; identify discrepancies, conflicts, and uncertainties.

• Collaborate with Product Managers to gather missing information and address requirement inquiries.

• Keep documentation updated as actions, treatments, business rules, channels, and content requirements evolve.

• Assist in backlog management and align configuration priorities with the direction set by NBA Product Management.

• Monitor implementation progress and ensure timely resolution of outstanding requirement questions.

• Offer clarification and support to implementation teams.

• Revise requirements and documentation during approved modifications.

• Maintain oversight of actions and treatments throughout their definition, configuration, testing, and implementation phases.

• Recognize recurring documentation issues and recommend enhancements to templates, standards, and requirement-management practices.

• Contribute to the development of the NBA Action Catalog and implementation standards.

• Create scalable documentation and configuration practices for wider enterprise adoption.

• Occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Proven experience in Product Ownership, Business Analysis, Product Management, Requirements Management, Platform Administration, or a related role.

• Experience in transforming business or product requirements into structured, implementation-ready documentation.

• Experience in reviewing requirements for completeness, consistency, accuracy, and usability for downstream implementation teams.

• Capability to identify requirement gaps, resolve ambiguities, and collaborate with stakeholders to clarify business objectives.

• Experience in documenting business rules, workflows, configuration requirements, or other structured implementation specifications.

• Experience managing or assisting a backlog of implementation, configuration, or product-related tasks.

• Excellent written communication and documentation skills.

• Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities, changes, and implementation activities simultaneously.

• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy across extensive volumes of structured information.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders, Product Managers, technology teams, and implementation resources.

• Capacity to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload.

• Ability to work from a dedicated space without ongoing interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.
