Senior Product Owner – Flex

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Clearly articulate and establish the product vision, advantages, and roadmap.

• Supervise and authorize work throughout the design, development, and product lifecycle.

• Collaborate with potential users, clients, and cross-functional teams to determine their needs.

• Convert needs into product requirements, user stories, and sprint plans.

• Lead and act as a liaison between the product team and end-users to ensure ongoing feedback and enhancement.

• Sustain a transparent, visible, and comprehensible Product Backlog.

• Identify epics and priorities; approve and collaborate on user stories, backlog refinement, and plans.

• Manage product approvals within the SDLC.

• Develop and present presentations on work products and strategies.

• Engage daily with cross-functional delivery teams.

• Guide teams to maximize delivered value.

• Participate in Scrum ceremonies.

• Communicate progress, roadmap updates, and risks/issues to leadership and business stakeholders.

• Research and analyze unmet needs and prospective product enhancements.

• Report to the Senior Director, Product Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience required.

• At least 2 years as a product owner on large-scale projects collaborating with internal and external resources.

• Experience in Life and Annuity is preferred.

• Familiarity with SAFe Agile methodologies is a plus.

• A 4-year degree is required or equivalent work experience.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

• Experience with artificial intelligence tools and resources, including generative AI.
