Senior Product Owner – Corporate and Financial Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the Product Owner for IT teams that support Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, and various Corporate Functions.

• Collaborate with other IT teams and business stakeholders to establish priorities, manage roadmaps, and ensure alignment of delivery with business objectives.

• Oversee and prioritize the backlog to optimize business value and support the organization's goals.

• Work together with stakeholders and other IT teams to outline requirements, acceptance criteria, testing strategies, and release plans.

• Partner with IT Planning Managers, Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers, and business stakeholders to refine, prioritize, and execute tasks.

• Facilitate effective communication between business and technology teams to guarantee successful solution delivery and adoption.

• Provide clear and transparent updates on delivery status, releases, risks, and critical decisions.

• Promote continuous improvement of business processes, operational efficiency, reporting capabilities, and system functionality.

• Advocate for Agile principles and best practices in product ownership while offering thought leadership and mentorship.

• Track delivery outcomes, stakeholder satisfaction, and business risks.

• Document all activities in Azure DevOps according to established standards.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in a role such as Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or a similar position.

• Experience in supporting Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or other Corporate Systems functions is preferred.

• Strong working knowledge of accounting, financial operations, and associated business processes is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP platforms is preferred.

• A solid understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, backlog management, requirements analysis, and stakeholder engagement is essential.

• Proven ability to manage competing priorities while balancing short-term needs with long-term business goals.

• Demonstrated capability to exercise sound judgment, assess complex situations, and make informed decisions in ambiguous settings.

• Ability to influence outcomes and foster consensus among diverse stakeholder groups without direct authority.

• Excellent communication, facilitation, relationship management, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience in translating business needs into effective technological solutions.

• Capacity to work efficiently in complex environments characterized by multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and shifting business requirements.
