This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of positioning, competitive intelligence, and sales enablement for AEM's global range of environmental monitoring products and solutions.
• Establish direction for messaging and lead the creation of positioning and enablement materials.
• Create and uphold positioning and messaging frameworks across AEM's product lineup.
• Convert technical capabilities into value propositions that resonate with buyers.
• Ensure that positioning remains effective during competitive sales cycles and aligns with buyer decision-making processes.
• Manage competitive intelligence as a continuous practice.
• Track competitor positioning, product innovations, and go-to-market strategies.
• Summarize competitive insights into briefs and empower sales teams with current differentiators.
• Develop and maintain the sales enablement library, which includes battle cards, one-pagers, solution briefs, pitch narratives, and objection-handling guides.
• Ensure that field teams have access to up-to-date, on-message materials.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to identify and address enablement gaps.
• Plan and oversee product and feature launches from start to finish.
• Coordinate with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams on launch initiatives.
• Train and equip sales and support teams for new product introductions.
• Contribute to thought leadership through bylines, speaking abstracts, white papers, and campaign messaging.
• Assist in defining AEM's unique market narrative.
• Provide messaging and copy support for websites, campaigns, press releases, and partner communications.
• Act as a positioning and content resource for the wider marketing team.
• Utilize AI to streamline research timelines, enhance competitive synthesis, and expedite content creation.
• Report directly to the VP of Marketing.
• A bachelor's degree is required.
• An MBA or equivalent experience is preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of total work experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in B2B product marketing.
• Experience ideally at a company that sells data, software, or technology products.
• Strongly preferred experience in the environmental monitoring, weather, geospatial, or related data or technology sectors.
• Proven ability to develop positioning frameworks, messaging hierarchies, and value propositions that perform well in competitive sales cycles.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Comfortable working with market data, win/loss analyses, and usage metrics.
• Demonstrated success in producing sales enablement materials that are utilized by field teams.
• Proficient in communication across executive presentations, customer-facing copy, internal briefs, and long-form thought leadership.
• Practical and active fluency with AI tools for research, content development, competitive analysis, and workflow automation.
• Ability to explain where and why AI provides genuine leverage.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship for employment-based work authorization, now or in the future.
