This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Develop and sustain positioning and messaging frameworks for AEM's product portfolio.
β’ Convert technical capabilities into value propositions that resonate with buyers.
β’ Ensure that positioning withstands competitive sales cycles and mirrors buyer decision-making.
β’ Take ownership of competitive intelligence as a continuous practice.
β’ Keep track of competitor positioning, product advancements, and go-to-market strategies within the environmental monitoring sector.
β’ Consolidate findings into actionable briefs and equip sales with current, credible differentiation.
β’ Create and manage the sales enablement library, which includes battle cards, one-pagers, solution briefs, pitch narratives, and objection-handling guides.
β’ Ensure that field teams are equipped with up-to-date, on-message materials that reflect product positioning and competitive realities.
β’ Collaborate with sales leadership to identify and bridge enablement gaps.
β’ Plan and oversee product and feature launches from start to finish.
β’ Coordinate efforts across Product, Sales, and Marketing for impactful launches.
β’ Train and prepare sales and support teams for new product introductions.
β’ Contribute to thought leadership through bylines, speaking abstracts, white papers, and campaign messaging.
β’ Assist in defining AEM's unique market narrative.
β’ Provide messaging and copywriting support across web content, campaigns, press releases, and partner communications.
β’ Act as a positioning and content resource for the wider marketing team.
β’ Report directly to the VP of Marketing.
β’ A bachelor's degree is required.
β’ An MBA or equivalent experience is advantageous.
β’ A minimum of 8 years of total experience, including at least 4 years in B2B product marketing.
β’ Preference for experience at a company selling data, software, or technology products.
β’ Strong preference for experience in the environmental monitoring, weather, geospatial, or related data or technology sectors.
β’ Proven ability to create positioning frameworks, messaging hierarchies, and value propositions that endure in competitive sales cycles.
β’ Excellent analytical skills are essential.
β’ Comfortable working with market data, win/loss analyses, and usage metrics to inform decisions.
β’ Demonstrated history of producing sales enablement materials that field teams actively utilize.
β’ Strong communication skills across executive presentations, customer-facing copy, internal briefs, and long-form thought leadership.
β’ Practical, active fluency with AI tools used for research, content development, competitive analysis, and workflow automation.
β’ Ability to articulate where and why AI provides genuine leverage.
β’ Must be eligible to work in Canada without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization.
