This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Serve as the representative voice of the customer for an entire industry vertical.
• Function as Zeitview's knowledgeable expert for a designated vertical such as solar, wind, electric utilities, oil & gas, or commercial properties.
• Identify customer challenges, needs, value propositions, and business cases.
• Conduct customer discovery and foster relationships in partnership with the sales team.
• Convert market signals into prioritized requirements for platform product managers and engineering teams.
• Perform competitive analysis and establish product success metrics.
• Create strategies focused on growth and develop go-to-market plans for expanding offerings.
• Establish success metrics linked to revenue, customer retention, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with 3–5 strategic accounts to gain insights into workflows, pain points, and decision-making processes.
• Conduct customer interviews, operational shadowing, competitive assessments, and analysis of usage data.
• Negotiate engineering capacity alongside platform product managers using data and customer insights.
• Draft requirements that are sufficiently detailed for engineering implementation while remaining adaptable for platform-wide application.
• Establish internal credibility as the industry expert for the company.
• Coordinate efforts across various functions and informally guide colleagues without direct authority.
• Regularly interact with enterprise clients and travel to sites and inspection locations.
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a science, technology, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 8 years of professional experience.
• At least 5 years in product management, solutions consulting, technical sales, or a similar customer-facing role within enterprise software.
• Extensive domain knowledge in at least one of the following: solar energy, wind energy, commercial properties, electric utilities, or oil & gas.
• Direct industry experience is required; candidates lacking this will not be considered.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with enterprise customers and translate those relationships into product insights.
• Capability to conduct structured discovery and synthesize both qualitative and quantitative inputs into a prioritized problem set.
• Commercial awareness linking product decisions to pipeline, deal size, retention, and competitive positioning.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and inspection locations.
• Experience collaborating with operational or service delivery teams is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with geospatial data, remote sensing, or asset management platforms is strongly preferred.
• Experience with AI/ML-powered products is strongly preferred.
• Proven track record in go-to-market strategy development is strongly preferred.
• Experience in mobile application development is strongly preferred.
