This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Define and spearhead the product vision for a metrics-focused Analytics & Insights experience.
β’ Take ownership of the product strategy and roadmap for the analytics experience layer of Analytics & Insights.
β’ Transition the product from a dashboard-centric navigation system towards metric pages, catalogs, customer-defined metrics, benchmarking, drill-down, and guided exploration.
β’ Modernize dashboards, out-of-the-box analytics, reporting experiences, and fundamental analytics workflows.
β’ Utilize customer feedback, product usage trends, support patterns, win/loss insights, and competitive signals to prioritize enhancements in analytics.
β’ Define requirements for metric definitions, calculation logic, semantic-layer dependencies, data quality, local configuration, and cross-domain metric experiences.
β’ Integrate explanations, automated insights, recommendations, and AI-enhanced experiences.
β’ Collaborate with engineering, design, data science, customer success, services, support, sales, and marketing teams.
β’ Lead the discovery process, requirements gathering, prioritization, launch readiness, and post-launch assessment.
β’ Sustain and advance the current analytics business while developing a flexible, metrics-driven future for educational districts.
β’ Over 4 years of product management experience in SaaS, analytics, business intelligence, data products, enterprise software, or education technology.
β’ Strong grasp of analytics user experiences, dashboards, metric design, reporting workflows, data visualization, drill-down, benchmarking, and self-service analytics patterns.
β’ Experience in defining metric requirements, calculation logic, reporting specifications, or semantic-layer dependencies in collaboration with engineering or data teams.
β’ Ability to simplify complex data and customer workflows into intuitive, high-value product experiences.
β’ Strong product discovery capabilities, including customer research, problem framing, opportunity sizing, prioritization, and validation.
β’ Comfortable collaborating with engineering on technically intricate topics such as data quality, data models, calculation logic, permissions, performance, and scalability.
β’ Experience with AI-enabled or insight-driven experiences is advantageous, particularly where AI is utilized to explain metrics, respond to natural language inquiries, or suggest next-best actions.
β’ Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, able to influence senior stakeholders and align cross-functional teams around a clear product vision.
β’ Strong business acumen with the ability to balance customer needs, implementation costs, market differentiation, adoption, and the impact on revenue/retention.
β’ Experience in Agile environments with a strong focus on execution discipline, clear requirements, and structured post-launch assessment.
β’ Willingness to travel occasionally, up to 5%.
β’ This position is subject to company on-call policies, which may require working outside normal business hours as necessary.
