This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Serve as the representative voice for customers within a specific industry vertical.
• Act as Zeitview's expert in a designated vertical sector.
• Take ownership of problem identification, encompassing the needs, motivations, and value propositions of enterprise customers.
• Conduct customer discovery processes and foster client relationships in collaboration with the sales team.
• Analyze market trends and convert them into prioritized requirements for platform product managers and engineering teams.
• Perform competitive analysis and establish metrics for product success.
• Create business cases and develop go-to-market strategies for expanding service offerings.
• Define success within the vertical in terms of revenue generation, customer retention, and overall customer outcomes.
• Engage directly with 3–5 strategic accounts to gain insights into inspection workflows, challenges, and decision-making processes.
• Execute structured discovery through customer interviews, operational ride-alongs, competitive studies, and usage analytics.
• Collaborate with platform product managers to negotiate engineering resources using data and customer insights.
• Draft requirements that are detailed enough for development yet adaptable for platform-wide application.
• Establish internal credibility as the company’s authority in the industry.
• Coordinate cross-functionally and provide informal guidance to others without having direct reports.
• Regularly interact with enterprise clients and visit physical infrastructure and inspection sites.
• A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a science, technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 8 years of professional experience.
• More than 5 years in product management, solutions consulting, technical sales, or a similar customer-facing role in enterprise software.
• Extensive domain knowledge in at least one of the following areas: solar energy, wind energy, commercial properties, electric utilities, or oil & gas.
• Required direct industry experience; applicants without this will not be considered.
• Proven ability to build trust with enterprise customers and translate those relationships into valuable product insights.
• Capability to conduct structured discovery and consolidate both qualitative and quantitative feedback into a prioritized list of issues.
• Strong commercial insight linking product decisions to revenue pipeline, deal size, retention, and competitive advantage.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer locations and inspection sites.
• Experience collaborating with operational or service delivery teams is preferred.
• Familiarity with geospatial data, remote sensing, or asset management platforms is a plus.
• Knowledge of AI/ML-powered products is advantageous.
• Background in developing go-to-market strategies is preferred.
• Experience in mobile application development is a plus.
