This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Establish and guide the product vision for a metrics-driven Analytics & Insights experience.
• Manage the product strategy and roadmap for the analytics experience layer.
• Transition dashboard-centric navigation towards metric pages, catalogs, customer-defined metrics, benchmarking, drill-down features, and guided exploration.
• Upgrade dashboards, out-of-the-box analytics, reporting experiences, and core analytics workflows.
• Leverage customer feedback, product usage, support trends, win/loss insights, and competitive signals to prioritize enhancements.
• Define requirements for metric definitions, calculation logic, semantic-layer dependencies, data quality, local configuration, and cross-domain metric experiences.
• Integrate explanations, automated insights, recommendations, and AI-driven experiences.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, data science, customer success, services, support, sales, and marketing teams.
• Direct discovery, requirements gathering, prioritization, launch readiness, and post-launch assessment.
• Sustain and advance the current analytics business while developing metrics-focused experiences for educators and district leaders.
• A minimum of 4 years of product management experience in SaaS, analytics, business intelligence, data products, enterprise software, or educational technology.
• Profound understanding of analytics user experiences, dashboards, metric design, reporting workflows, data visualization, drill-down techniques, benchmarking, and self-service analytics methodologies.
• Experience in defining metric requirements, calculation logic, reporting specifications, or semantic-layer dependencies in collaboration with engineering or data teams.
• Capability to convert complex data and customer workflows into straightforward, intuitive, and high-value product experiences.
• Strong product discovery abilities, including customer research, problem framing, opportunity sizing, prioritization, and validation.
• Comfort in partnering with engineering regarding data quality, data models, calculation logic, permissions, performance, and scalability.
• Familiarity with AI-driven or insight-led experiences is advantageous.
• Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the capacity to influence senior stakeholders and align cross-functional teams.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to balance customer needs, implementation costs, market differentiation, adoption, and revenue/retention impact.
• Experience in Agile environments with a strong focus on execution discipline, clear requirements, and structured post-launch evaluation.
• Willingness to travel occasionally, up to 5%.
