This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.
• Take charge of margin enhancement and cost control for the switchgear product line.
• Guide cross-functional teams to establish and implement product growth strategies that align with the Annual Operating Plan and long-term goals.
• Create and sustain a market-leading product roadmap that emphasizes innovation, competitiveness, and customer value.
• Oversee product lifecycle management and formulate aftermarket strategies to ensure long-term viability.
• Collaborate with Marketing on go-to-market strategies to increase market share and speed up the time-to-market.
• Work together with Sales on market opportunities, segmentation, competitive analysis, trends, target customers, investments, revenue forecasts, financial assessments, and strategic insights.
• Direct new product development (NPD) and new product introduction (NPI) efforts alongside Operations, Engineering, Quality, Sourcing, Trade Compliance, Sales, and Marketing.
• Define, monitor, and report essential performance metrics to business leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Enhance organizational capability by nurturing a high-performance culture rooted in Regal Rexnord values and employee engagement.
• Lead a team of quotation and R&D engineers.
• Propel product and pricing strategy as well as portfolio management through the Regal Rexnord Business System.
• Shape the future of the switchgear portfolio from technological, market, and growth perspectives.
• A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
• Over 5 years of technical experience in power distribution, including switchgear products.
• More than 7 years of progressive leadership experience in product management, application engineering, technical marketing, or commercial roles.
• Acknowledged as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in switchgear products and their applications.
• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant switchgear standards, such as UL 891, UL 1066, UL 1558, CSA C22.2, ANSI C37.20.2, UL 1008, ANSI/IEEE C37.04 & C37.06, and NEC/CEC.
• Proven understanding of customer segments, including data centers, infrastructure, utilities, mining, and various industrial markets.
• Awareness of market trends, competitive positioning, and gaps in portfolio and technology.
• Experience in working within structured business system frameworks that support NPD/NPI.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP or equivalent platforms.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada or the United States without requiring company sponsorship.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% as necessary.
• Must travel to both Langley, British Columbia, Canada, and Arlington, Texas, United States.
• No travel restrictions and possession of a valid passport for international travel are required.
• Professional proficiency in English.
• Strategic and analytical mindset capable of developing business cases and identifying growth opportunities.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
• Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to engage and influence senior executives and industry colleagues.
