This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Take ownership of designated product initiatives within Access and IoT product lines.
β’ Establish the product scope, customer impact, and business impact in collaboration with Product leadership or peers.
β’ Develop product requirements documents to ensure alignment with engineering teams.
β’ Collaborate with ProductOps to launch and pilot new initiatives.
β’ Convert operator and resident insights into clearly defined product requirements.
β’ Draft PRDs that adhere to RealPage standards, enhancing development efficiency and minimizing rework.
β’ Work alongside Engineering, UX, and QA teams across a global organization to deliver high-quality features on schedule.
β’ Define and track product KPIs, including adoption rates, retention, support deflection, and client satisfaction metrics.
β’ Propel data-driven product iterations.
β’ Advocate for multifamily property managers, maintenance teams, and residents in stakeholder groups and leadership evaluations.
β’ Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Channel teams to create go-to-market messaging and materials for stakeholder initiatives.
β’ Assist with initiatives like a Chirp Access Control partner API, enhancements to Smart Water, and transitioning legacy sites to an upgraded platform.
β’ 2β4 years of product management experience in a B2B SaaS setting.
β’ Familiarity with access control hardware and credential ecosystems, including BLE, NFC, RFID, MDU readers, and cloud-based access management systems.
β’ Demonstrated experience in owning a product, major feature, or initiative from start to finish: strategy, roadmap, delivery, and post-launch adjustments.
β’ Experience in customer discovery, including qualitative research through interviews and observational studies.
β’ Capability to translate research insights into product direction.
β’ Strong documentation skills; experienced in creating BRDs, PRDs, and product specifications.
β’ Ability to collaborate effectively with Product and Engineering teams, as well as key stakeholders.
β’ Strong and persuasive communication skills, including the ability to present scope rationale and trade-off decisions to senior leadership.
β’ Analytical mindset; skilled in defining success metrics and utilizing data to validate product decisions.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
β’ Experience in smart building technologies, access control, IoT, or proptech, particularly in the multifamily real estate sector, is preferred.
β’ Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps or comparable backlog management tools is preferred.
β’ Awareness of AI tools and usability levels between an AI Adaptor and AI Orchestrator is preferred.
