Senior Product Manager, Recall

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Formulate the vision and strategy for multiple quarters across the Machine Learning & Recall and Query teams.

• Direct the Query team to innovate in areas such as tokenization, spell correction, entity extraction, and intent classification.

• Guide the Machine Learning & Recall team in advancing candidate generation architecture.

• Take ownership of measurable improvements in search-related conversion, revenue per visit, and GMV.

• Collaborate with ML researchers, data scientists, and software engineers to implement state-of-the-art models into production.

• Develop strong offline and online measurement systems to assess retrieval accuracy.

• Ensure that candidate product sets and query context integrate smoothly into downstream ranking models.

• Oversee technical triage for any issues related to query interpretation or retrieval anomalies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Highly technical with a systems-oriented mindset.

• Proven experience in leading teams within search intelligence, machine learning, or similar domains.

• Strong understanding of query comprehension and candidate retrieval processes.

• Familiarity with vector search, semantic parsing, dense embeddings, and LLM-assisted query interpretation.

• Capability to balance cutting-edge techniques with efficient low-latency production execution.

• Established history of driving business outcomes, including conversion rates and search-related revenue.

• Experience working collaboratively with ML researchers, data scientists, and software engineers.

• Proven ability to make decisions based on data analysis.
