Senior Product Manager - Payment Processing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

• Work together with product and engineering teams to prioritize product opportunities.

• Establish high-level customer requirements throughout the customer journey.

• Engage with users to comprehend and validate their needs.

• Conduct sessions to gather customer feedback on product features and enhancements.

• Create metrics to evaluate feature success and identify areas for improvement.

• Take part in planning meetings and provide guidance on product direction.

• Collaborate with customers and team members to understand evolving needs.

• Evaluate customer behaviors, emerging trends, and industry expectations.

• Discover opportunities and outline requirements for product differentiation and innovation while ensuring compliance.

• Direct the strategy and advancement of commercial payment products across ACH, wire, and instant payment channels.

• Utilize knowledge of payment capabilities, economics, risks, and operating models in commercial banking applications.

• Grasp technical challenges to prioritize features, minimize technical debt, and enhance resilience.

• Support the testing strategy through quality assurance and user acceptance testing feedback.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or a relevant combination of education and experience.

• 5-7 years of experience directly related to product or service development.

• Over 3 years of experience in Agile product management.

• Background in product development, requirements and risk analysis, pricing, planning, competitive analysis, and financial strategy.

• Experience collaborating with strategic partners.

• Proficient in Atlassian products, Miro, and Productboard.

• Expertise in money-movement orchestration and integration with payment systems, including checks, ACH, book transfers, wires, and real-time payments.

• Proven leadership presence and exceptional communication skills.

• Track record of successfully defining and launching new products or platforms.

• Experience in software/technology product management and delivering features in a fast-paced, iterative environment.

• Capability to engage leaders and implement business solutions.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, decision-making, creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficient in developing and prioritizing high-level product requirements.

• Business acumen, strategic agility, ability to mentor others, influence outcomes and change, and negotiate for resources.

• Ability to build relationships and foster cooperation across teams.
