This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the post-paywall member experience for onboarding and activation, as well as cross-selling, upselling, bundling, and offboarding.
• Detect and address member and revenue loss through re-engagement, experimentation, and lifecycle marketing collaborations.
• Manage the onboarding and activation process from day one through the initial six months for LegalShield, IDShield, and bundled offerings.
• Create detailed member journey maps, covering initial setup, first value moments, habit development, and service exploration.
• Develop customized onboarding pathways tailored for various member categories.
• Design and implement in-product experiences such as checklists, empty states, contextual tooltips, progress indicators, and in-app guidance.
• Enhance revenue growth through re-engagement, cross-selling, upselling, and product bundling strategies.
• Construct pipelines and next-best-action frameworks utilizing shared member data.
• Oversee the offboarding user experience and account settings interface.
• Execute a fast-paced experimentation program and organize A/B testing across onboarding as well as upsell/cross-sell interfaces.
• Develop a three- to six-month roadmap informed by experimentation insights.
• Define and manage activation, retention, and lifecycle metrics, including cohort analysis, time-to-first-value, milestone completion, drop-off points, and feature adoption depth.
• Collaborate with engineering, lifecycle marketing, data, design, finance, provider services, and compliance teams.
• Report directly to the Senior Director of Product.
• Mentor fellow product managers and elevate the standards of product craftsmanship.
• 5–8 years of experience in product management.
• Proven experience with a consumer or self-service subscription product, managing a funnel, growth metric, and/or revenue stream.
• A successful history of delivering onboarding, activation, lifecycle-triggered, upselling, cross-selling, or subscription retention product initiatives and improving related metrics.
• Practical experience in overseeing onboarding, activation, or early lifecycle product tasks, with quantifiable successes and failures.
• Direct experience with D2C subscription products, digital consumer growth funnels, and large-scale onboarding and gamification strategies.
• Revenue-focused mindset.
• Data-informed product operations; ability to execute queries, design experiments, and utilize product analytics.
• In-depth knowledge of experimentation frameworks and metrics-driven decision-making, encompassing A/B testing, cohort analysis, LTV, ARPU, conversion, and retention.
• Understanding of subscription economics and financial modeling.
• Structured thinking and an understanding of customer psychology.
• Technical proficiency to engage in meaningful discussions with engineers regarding architecture and trade-offs.
• AI-native working style with daily use of AI tools.
• Capability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform sedentary tasks at a computer.
• Ability to work remotely with dependable internet access and effectively engage in phone and video calls.
• Consistent and reliable attendance alongside punctuality.
• Flexibility to work remotely with reliable internet access and an efficient phone/video-call workspace.
