This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Define and take ownership of the product vision for a comprehensive AI-driven medical imaging SaaS platform catering to clinical trials worldwide.
• Develop strategic roadmaps that incorporate scientific advancements to minimize manual review times and expedite trial processes.
• Identify opportunities for automation, predictive analytics, and intelligent image processing.
• Create business cases for automation and AI investments, demonstrating their return on investment (ROI).
• Drive the strategy for multi-tenant, cloud-native SaaS solutions that support MRI, CT, PET, ultrasound, and digital pathology.
• Establish key metrics and KPIs for SaaS, focusing on uptime, scalability, user adoption, customer success, and trial efficiency.
• Define strategies for integration with CTMS, EDC, and PACS/imaging vendor ecosystems.
• Translate overarching strategy into actionable roadmaps, prioritizing features based on clinical impact, business value, user needs, and technical feasibility.
• Gather insights from clinical trial sponsors, imaging CROs, and site users to validate the product direction.
• Align commercial, marketing, and customer success teams around achieving product-market fit and executing go-to-market strategies.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Solution Architects on requirements, technical feasibility, and platform architecture.
• Analyze competitors, AI capabilities, regulatory trends, industry developments, and customer segments.
• Manage the entire product lifecycle from inception to retirement.
• Monitor product performance using trial outcomes, imaging throughput, AI model performance, and user satisfaction metrics.
• Lead product launches, go-to-market strategies, user training initiatives, and customer success enablement.
• Establish feedback loops with customers and clinical users for continuous product enhancement.
• Develop strategies to transform existing products into cloud-based SaaS platforms.
• Manage product budgets, resource allocation, and assessments of financial viability.
• Provide functional leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to other Product Managers.
• Build relationships with senior leadership, clients, and stakeholders, representing the organization at industry events.
• Analyze clinical imaging workflows and operational bottlenecks to identify automation opportunities.
• Evaluate product usability and accessibility while driving business process reengineering.
• Ensure compliance with 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA, GDPR, GxP, DICOM, and HL7 FHIR regulations.
• Collaborate on validation documentation, audit trails, compliance evidence, and explainable, clinically validated AI/ML features.
• Maintain an understanding of FDA AI/ML guidance.
• Engage thoroughly with clinical imaging workflows and partner with clinical operations on imaging charter development, site qualification, protocol compliance, and data management.
• Design features that address multi-site standardization, reader blinding, inter-reader variability, and adherence to protocols.
• Support various therapeutic areas and specialized imaging endpoints.
• Extensive experience in medical imaging within clinical trials or the life sciences sector.
• Proven expertise in SaaS product management, particularly in scaling cloud-based platforms.
• Experience with AI/ML product development, including model deployment, performance monitoring, and clinical validation, is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience in automation and workflow optimization in clinical operations.
• Familiarity with imaging viewer technologies such as OHIF, Cornerstone.js, and commercial PACS viewers.
• Experience in coaching and training colleagues and peers in product management methodologies.
• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field (Math, Science, Engineering, Computing, etc.) or a related discipline, or equivalent project-related experience.
• Proficiency in English.
• Experience in SaaS product management and platform scaling.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe), SDLC, and product lifecycle tools.
• Knowledge of medical imaging.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP and SaaS architectural patterns (microservices, APIs, multi-tenancy).
• Understanding of imaging data standards (DICOM, NIfTI).
• Proficiency in product analytics and A/B testing methodologies.
• Experience in market analysis, customer segmentation, and designing value propositions.
• Experience in ROI modeling and developing business cases.
• Ability to balance innovation with risk management in regulated environments.
