Senior Product Manager, Hybrid Platform – Deployment Models

📋 Description

• Take ownership of supported self-hosted and hybrid deployment models, focusing on positioning, lifecycle expectations, and customer outcomes.

• Enhance installation, configuration, upgrades, and operability across diverse infrastructures.

• Lead product direction towards production readiness and operational tooling, which includes observability, benchmarking, runbooks, diagnostics, and upgrade safety.

• Develop strategies and requirements for database and storage selections.

• Manage multi-region and multi-cloud topology capabilities for self-hosted environments.

• Collaborate with Resident Architects and self-hosted services teams on the roadmap, packaging, and repeatable deployment patterns.

• Oversee Temporal Proxy as a complete product, including roadmap, packaging, customer deployment experience, and operability.

• Work in partnership with Engineering, Resident Architects, and self-hosted services to provide reliable capabilities for customer deployment environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven product leadership experience in shipping and iterating on infrastructure/platform products.

• Capability to convert security/compliance, networking, topology, data, and operational needs into product requirements and roadmaps.

• Technical knowledge of deployment architecture, replication, storage systems, and operational tooling.

• Experience in aligning Engineering, Security, Support, Field/Resident Architects, Solutions, and Sales stakeholders.

• Exceptional written communication skills for PRDs, decision documents, and customer-facing guidance.

• Customer-centric mindset with a focus on documentation, upgrade paths, diagnostics, and operational clarity.

• Familiarity with regulated and controlled environments, such as FedRAMP-aligned and sovereign cloud environments.

• Experience with hybrid architectures, migration programs, or interoperability across different environments.

• Background in benchmarking/performance testing.

• Knowledge of multi-region replication patterns and failure modes in distributed systems.
