Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Collect, document, and validate both business and user requirements in collaboration with the Head of Product Ownership.

• Develop epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and relevant engineering documentation.

• Engage in backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Organize, refine, and maintain requirement artifacts in alignment with the product roadmap priorities.

• Work closely with development teams to clarify requirements, address inquiries, and eliminate blockers.

• Collaborate with Client Success, Solutions, Sales, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather feedback and assess client impacts.

• Ensure traceability of requirements from discovery through to delivery and release.

• Assist with pre-release and post-release enablement by providing release notes, FAQs, and walkthroughs.

• Analyze workflows and user journeys within the Ethixbase360 ecosystem to identify opportunities for optimization.

• Aid in usability testing and validation of implemented features.

• Create requirement specifications, diagrams, workflows, and product notes.

• Contribute to quality assurance by reviewing test cases and validating functionality during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Support the creation of release notes and user documentation aimed at end users.

• Report directly to the Head of Product Ownership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid documentation permitting work in the Philippines or Malaysia.

• Proficient in English at a business level (C1/C2), both spoken and written.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• User-centric with a passion for understanding user needs.

• Collaborative and comfortable working across different functions.

• Inquisitive and proactive in approach.

• Familiarity with agile environments and principles.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Organized and structured, capable of managing multiple priorities and maintaining organized backlogs.

• 4-6 years of experience in a Product Owner role or a similar function within an agile, preferably SaaS environment.

• Background knowledge in compliance, due diligence, or a related field is highly regarded.

• Experience in delivering AI-embedded product development is a plus.

• Ability to align working hours with the UK, up to 12pm GMT.
