Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Establish the product vision and outline the strategic direction alongside the founders.

• Collaborate with Solution Architects, sales, and marketing teams.

• Shape the product direction and convert long-term opportunities into actionable priorities.

• Transform insights from customers, the community, and the market into decisions regarding development and prioritization.

• Lead new product initiatives from the research phase through to launch.

• Work together with founders, engineers, and designers on APIs, SDKs, infrastructure, user experience, and documentation.

• Align the founders, engineering, sales, marketing, and key customers without unnecessary bureaucratic processes.

• Enhance the effectiveness of the product-engineering team through clear context, sound judgment, and concise written briefs.

• Oversee the quarterly roadmapping process and recommend Langfuse's development trajectory.

• Develop an understanding of market trends and emerging technologies, particularly how engineers utilize AI for agentic applications.

• Produce product artifacts that outline user challenges and solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Manager in developer tools, observability, infrastructure, data, or other similarly technical products.

• Technical capability to engage credibly in discussions about APIs, SDKs, architecture, and UX trade-offs.

• Hands-on product management approach, including product testing, user engagement, and potentially creating small prototypes.

• Strong strategic thinking, prioritization skills, and a refined sense of product quality.

• Ability to thrive in ambiguity, with a sense of autonomy, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

• Pragmatic, composed, organized, and focused on delivering results.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong interest in AI and extensive experience utilizing AI tools.

• Experience with open-source projects, enterprise software, or significant platform transitions is advantageous.
