Senior Product Manager – Heating & Cooling

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of Heat as a product, encompassing space heating, hot water, and cooling solutions.

• Establish the strategic direction and priorities for Heating & Cooling.

• Manage the product strategy and roadmap across various markets.

• Define customer outcomes and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to comfort, cost, control, and reliability.

• Convert hardware and field limitations into actionable product requirements.

• Promote thermal optimization within the Energy Management System.

• Ensure alignment between hardware, the Energy Management System, and customer experience.

• Draft specifications, conduct discovery, prioritize tasks, and launch products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in Product Management, particularly with hardware-software products, energy, HVAC, or similar physical systems.

• Proven history of overseeing a customer outcome across multiple engineering teams.

• Proficient in navigating the intersection of OEM interfaces, optimization, and user experience.

• Strong command of both English and German languages.

• Residing in Germany or willing to relocate.

• Bonus: Familiarity with heat pumps, SG Ready, EEBUS, Modbus, or OEM cloud APIs.

• Bonus: Experience in fieldwork or with installers.

• Bonus: Knowledge of thermal optimization or Home Energy Management Systems (HEMS) for heat pumps.

• Bonus: Experience with heating and cooling products across various countries.
