
Senior Product Manager β Fundraising, Non Profits

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
β’ Spearhead the product strategy and development for fundraising and donation solutions tailored to nonprofits, charities, faith-based organizations, schools, and other mission-driven entities.
β’ Create and uphold product strategies and roadmaps that encompass priorities, dependencies, trade-offs, investments, and anticipated outcomes.
β’ Identify and prioritize product features, capabilities, packaging, services, and client experiences.
β’ Oversee product lifecycle activities, including enhancements, supported versions, deprecations, client transitions, and data migration considerations.
β’ Direct the requirements for donation forms, recurring giving, donor accounts, acknowledgments, campaigns, appeals, peer-to-peer fundraising, events, pledges, tribute giving, matching gifts, and designated funds.
β’ Enhance recurring giving through subscription management, donor self-service, payment recovery, and retention strategies.
β’ Establish requirements for payment methods, providers, recurring payments, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, fraud prevention, data protection, and security measures.
β’ Set product priorities that bolster adoption, conversion, retention, expansion, revenue, margin, and other business goals.
β’ Create business cases and investment proposals.
β’ Offer insights into pricing, packaging, monetization, and go-to-market strategies.
β’ Lead client discovery, validation, prototyping, experimentation, launches, and post-release assessments.
β’ Contribute fundraising expertise to AI and the broader software portfolio strategy under the VP of Product.
β’ Establish and track KPIs, instrumentation, reporting, and performance metrics.
β’ Engage with nonprofit organizations, fundraising professionals, agencies, consultants, donors, client-facing teams, and external partners.
β’ Direct cross-functional initiatives and foster alignment across Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Client Success, Support, Legal, Compliance, Security, Finance, and other stakeholders.
β’ Convey product strategy, priorities, decisions, risks, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
β’ Share product knowledge and enhance product management practices.
β’ Perform additional related duties as assigned.
β’ Extensive professional experience in product management, including Senior, Lead, or equivalent roles.
β’ Background in fundraising, donations, payments, ecommerce, subscriptions, or transactional digital products.
β’ Solid understanding of online payments, payment gateways, recurring billing, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, and payment recovery processes.
β’ Familiarity with nonprofits or other mission-driven organizations.
β’ Knowledge of privacy, data protection, accessibility, security, and payment processing issues.
β’ Experience contributing to revenue, adoption, retention, pricing, packaging, monetization, or margin results.
β’ Proficient in defining, monitoring, and interpreting product and business KPIs.
β’ Experience in developing and launching products, features, or capabilities from conception to client availability and continuous improvement.
β’ Ability to incorporate client feedback into product strategy and prioritization.
β’ Capability to understand APIs, integrations, data flows, and system dependencies.
β’ Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives and aligning both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
β’ Preferred experience with WordPress and fundraising products, including GiveWP or similar platforms.
β’ Background with nonprofits, charities, faith organizations, educational institutions, or other mission-driven entities preferred.
β’ Experience with peer-to-peer fundraising, events, campaigns, recurring giving, or donor engagement preferred.
β’ Familiarity with integrating fundraising products with CRM, donor management, accounting, marketing, or other business systems preferred.
β’ Experience in international fundraising, multi-currency payments, or regional payment methods preferred.
β’ Knowledge of fraud prevention, AI-enabled product features, multi-product portfolios, open-source communities, or distributed technology teams preferred.
β’ Ability to communicate effectively and share information with others.
β’ Regular use of a computer, keyboard, and standard office equipment.
β’ May need to remain stationary and work at a desk or computer for prolonged periods.
β’ Occasional movement of office materials or equipment weighing up to 15 pounds may be necessary.
