Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the entire product lifecycle, from initial discovery and scoping to launch and subsequent iterations.

• Convert intricate user and business challenges into straightforward product requirements and actionable releases.

• Establish product direction and manage priorities among engineering, data, and business stakeholders.

• Maintain responsibility for product outcomes throughout the development process and after launch.

• Prioritize initiatives based on user needs, business impact, technical limitations, and resource availability.

• Deconstruct ambiguous issues into targeted and achievable product scopes.

• Propel execution in dynamic environments where requirements may change frequently.

• Define and monitor KPIs, adoption metrics, and overall product outcomes.

• Leverage product usage data and customer insights to inform prioritization and iterations.

• Assess launches and pinpoint areas for improvement using both quantitative and qualitative signals.

• Create intuitive, high-quality products for customers with a strong emphasis on usability.

• Collect and integrate customer feedback throughout the product lifecycle.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams during both planning and delivery phases.

• Work alongside data, business, and other internal stakeholders to ensure alignment.

• Clearly communicate product decisions, priorities, and trade-offs in written form.

• Foster alignment among teams in asynchronous and highly ambiguous work settings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or in a similar capacity with responsibility for a live software product.

• A solid track record of developing technology products aimed at customers.

• Strong product judgment with the capability to simplify complex issues.

• Proficiency in utilizing KPIs, usage data, customer feedback, and product insights to inform decisions.

• High level of ownership and comfort in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

• Excellent written communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Experience in AI, data, developer tools, or other technically advanced products is highly desirable.

• Technical fluency or a background in engineering is greatly advantageous.

• Familiarity with AI/ML, LLMs, agents, data infrastructure, or analytics products is a strong asset.

• Experience in taking products from conception to launch and iterating based on real-world application is highly valued.
