This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +28 more states.
β’ Develop a comprehensive understanding of the financial services sector pertinent to churches, encompassing Accounting, Payroll, Spend management, and various financial products and services.
β’ Identify and assess opportunities to address significant financial challenges for churches by utilizing customer insights, market research, and business data.
β’ Lead the product discovery process and define problems, including crafting problem statements, opportunity sizing, and recommendations for build-vs-buy or partnerships.
β’ Convert approved opportunities into a product strategy, a prioritized roadmap, and well-defined Jira Epics.
β’ Guide products and major product features from inception to launch and ongoing improvement.
β’ Establish success metrics and KPIs for new products and initiatives.
β’ Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, CX, Finance, Legal, and other cross-functional teams.
β’ Articulate product strategy, priorities, trade-offs, and progress to stakeholders and senior leadership.
β’ Keep abreast of advancements in financial services, technology, and the needs of churches.
β’ First-year goals include advising on build, buy, or partner strategies; launching at least one new financial product, integration, or significant capability; setting KPIs; and showcasing measurable business outcomes.
β’ Reports to the Director of Product.
β’ 5β7+ years of experience in product management, ideally within a SaaS or technology-focused environment.
β’ Proven experience in developing and launching financial products or services.
β’ Practical experience in taking a financial product, integration, or significant capability from concept to launch.
β’ Demonstrated ability to move a product from 0-to-1, navigating from concept and discovery through to launch and iteration.
β’ Proven track record in managing all aspects of the product development lifecycle.
β’ Familiarity with Accounting, Spend management, and/or Payroll software or systems is preferred.
β’ Experience in evaluating build-vs-buy decisions or strategic partnerships involving third-party financial services is preferred.
β’ Experience in integrating third-party financial products or services into an existing SaaS platform is preferred.
β’ Background in consolidating or unifying disparate systems or platforms into a cohesive customer experience is preferred.
β’ Previous experience in B2B SaaS development, including CRM, accounting, payroll, spend management, or other financial tools is preferred.
β’ Stable work environment with assigned workspace and access to high-speed internet.
β’ Must be US-based and legally authorized to work full-time in the US.
