Senior Product Manager – DNS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the roadmap for a key product area within DigiCert’s DNS and digital trust offerings.

• Transform market trends, customer demands, DNS telemetry, and technical capabilities into product strategies, requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics.

• Ensure that security, privacy, compliance, performance, reliability, and operational resilience are fundamental product requirements.

• Collaborate with enterprise customers, partners, internal field teams, and standards organizations to validate use cases and shape product direction.

• Work alongside engineering, architecture, security, and cloud platform teams to provide secure, scalable, API-first, cloud-native services.

• Employ telemetry, dashboards, customer insights, and experimentation to guide prioritization, assess impact, and enhance product outcomes.

• Leverage AI-assisted tools to analyze feedback, synthesize insights, prototype concepts, and refine product requirements.

• Establish and monitor metrics such as adoption, latency, reliability, automation effectiveness, policy accuracy, and trust-signal quality.

• Lead product-side go-to-market planning in collaboration with Product Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, covering launches, messaging, pricing, packaging inputs, enablement, and tracking of adoption.

• Quickly validate concepts, deliver incremental value, and iterate continuously while adhering to enterprise standards for security, reliability, and customer trust.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of product management experience in cloud-native SaaS, networking, security, developer platforms, or infrastructure products.

• Demonstrated success in leading DNS, networking, security, developer platform, or highly technical infrastructure products.

• Deep understanding of DNS, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure.

• Familiarity with PKI, TLS/SSL, identity, or related Internet infrastructure is strongly preferred.

• A clear perspective on DNS as it relates to trusted discovery, policy enforcement, posture signals, and infrastructure-level trust.

• Strong skills in customer discovery and product judgment.

• Experience in defining API-first, developer-facing, or platform products.

• Proven experience working closely with engineering teams on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Established ability to deliver 0→1 products and iterate swiftly in agile environments.

• Strong analytical and storytelling abilities using telemetry, dashboards, funnel metrics, and experimentation.

• Practical experience utilizing AI-assisted tools for discovery, prototyping, feedback synthesis, requirements development, and product management workflows.

• Experience leading product-side go-to-market activities, including pricing and packaging inputs, launch planning, messaging, enablement, and adoption tracking.

• Excellent communication skills to align engineering, sales, customers, and leadership around a technical product vision.

• A self-starter with an ownership mentality and enthusiasm for fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
