This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Develop and implement the vision and roadmap for the Data Security Platform across on-premises, cloud-based, and hybrid deployment models.
• Weigh customer needs, partner expectations, developer experience, and technical feasibility in product decision-making.
• Advocate for developer experience by identifying developer requirements and enhancing APIs, integrations, documentation, tooling, and resources.
• Partner with engineering to enhance developer tools and improve platform accessibility.
• Interact with developers and partners to comprehend workflows, compliance needs, security obstacles, and specific use cases.
• Conduct customer interviews, analyze usage statistics, and consolidate stakeholder feedback.
• Direct the interoperability strategy with external key management systems, content extraction tools, tagging solutions, and other enterprise security infrastructures.
• Recognize and prioritize integration opportunities that enhance platform value.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3–7 years of product management experience in the enterprise B2B sector.
• Strong preference for experience in enterprise security, data protection, or data-centric solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of enterprise software development, deployment models, and the distinctions between on-premises and cloud-hosted solutions.
• Acquaintance with hybrid architectures and the enterprise IT decision-making process.
• Capability to grasp and articulate complex technical concepts effectively.
• Familiarity with APIs, SDKs, integrations, system architecture, and developer tools.
• Foundational understanding of data security, privacy, and encryption principles.
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as FedRAMP, CMMC, and ITAR.
• Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to synthesize a variety of information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored to technical, business, and executive audiences.
• Proven ability and enthusiasm for learning new concepts, particularly in security, compliance, and enterprise environments.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a growth-oriented mindset.
• Preferred: experience in developing products for large enterprises with stringent compliance standards.
• Preferred: knowledge of key management systems, content discovery, or data classification solutions.
• Preferred: experience with developer-centric products, platform-as-a-service offerings, and SDKs.
• Preferred: comprehension of enterprise data governance and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Preferred: exposure to cryptography, encryption standards, or data protection technologies.
• Preferred: experience with agile development methodologies and product management frameworks.
