This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Saint Lucia.
• Define the strategic direction, objectives, and investment priorities for the LCA product portfolio.
• Own the success of Assent’s LCA solution, focusing on customer value, adoption, commercial performance, methodological credibility, and platform integration.
• Cultivate strategic relationships with customers, LCA practitioners, consultants, data providers, and industry partners.
• Generate market insights, anticipate emerging needs, validate product priorities, and influence product strategy and roadmap decisions.
• Ensure transparency in calculations, data lineage, source attribution, version control, quality indicators, and audit trails.
• Provide product leadership throughout the end-to-end delivery process with Engineering and Quality Assurance teams.
• Define and track metrics for product success, including adoption rates, time to value, data coverage and quality, calculation completion, customer confidence, retention, expansion, and commercial performance.
• Stay updated on LCA standards, methodologies, regulatory requirements, and market trends.
• Translate standards and market trends into actionable product strategy, data requirements, roadmap priorities, and scalable software capabilities.
• Develop and assess business cases for LCA product investments.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to establish go-to-market strategies, including pricing, positioning, and growth initiatives.
• Recruit, lead, mentor, and retain a team of Product Managers.
• Set team goals, establish operating processes, and ensure accountability; monitor progress and manage associated risks.
• Drive evidence-based prioritization from discovery and validation through to development, launch, adoption, and ongoing improvement.
• Establish and mentor the team on product management practices, including discovery, user research, experimentation, delivery, and release management.
• Implement responsible AI and machine learning in data collection, classification, calculation workflows, insight generation, and customer decision-making while ensuring transparency, validation, human oversight, and scientific integrity.
• A degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in product management, environmental science, sustainability, engineering, computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of progressive product management experience, particularly in a B2B SaaS context.
• At least 5 years of leadership experience in a rapidly growing organization.
• Proven experience applying LCA concepts and methodologies or leading software products that facilitate LCA or similar sustainability calculations.
• Ability to assess and articulate trade-offs related to system boundaries, functional units, allocation methods, data sources, data quality, uncertainty, impact methods, and calculation transparency.
• Experience in leading AI-enabled product capabilities.
• Understanding of use-case selection, data readiness, technical feasibility, and responsible AI practices.
• Experience managing technically complex, data-intensive B2B SaaS products.
• Strong grasp of databases, software development, quality assurance, calculation engines, data lineage, and auditable reporting.
• Proven track record of team development and delivering organizational and commercial outcomes.
• Exceptional skills in communication, influence, and relationship building.
• Strong judgment and problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to translate complex sustainability and regulatory requirements into strategic, scalable product offerings.
• Aptitude for market segmentation by verticals, defining value, and driving growth.
• Candidates should reside in the Netherlands, UK, or Germany; qualified candidates from North America may also be considered.
