This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Define and spearhead the multi-year product strategy for Sophia Learning’s online learning platform.
• Establish and advocate for product priorities using evidence-based analysis and structured trade-offs.
• Direct the organization’s vision and roadmap for AI products.
• Lead initiatives that incorporate machine learning, natural language processing, and generative AI into Workforce Edge applications.
• Provide counsel to executive leadership by translating technical opportunities into business value.
• Engage in customer conversations, user research, market analysis, and behavioral-data analysis.
• Manage prioritized initiatives from start to finish, including post-launch impact measurement.
• Oversee the product strategy for the AI pipeline, covering data ingestion, model training, inference, and feedback loops.
• Supervise scalable, governed data-ingestion pipelines, schemas, lineage, and security models.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Data/Analytics, and AI teams on semantic data layers and metadata governance.
• Mentor and guide Product Managers.
• Represent Sophia Learning as an industry thought leader in AI for online learning, ethical AI, and data-driven learning experiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science/Analytics, Business/Economics, Design, Cognitive Science, Learning Science, or a related field.
• Over 6 years of product management experience in SaaS, data platform, or AI-driven product environments.
• Profound expertise in product management, AI-driven product strategy, and large-scale platform systems.
• Proven product judgment and experience in high-stakes prioritization.
• Ability to synthesize qualitative research, market signals, and quantitative data.
• Established capability to connect technical depth with executive influence.
• Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional AI initiatives that encompass data engineering, product, and data science.
• Experience in defining AI governance frameworks and ensuring responsible, compliant use of data and models.
• Background in productizing machine learning, NLP, and generative AI in multi-persona SaaS environments.
• Outstanding leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Familiarity with cloud data ecosystems such as GCP, AWS, or Azure, along with modern data and AI tools.
• Experienced in setting product direction, owning product vision and multi-year roadmaps, and achieving executive alignment.
• Proven track record of enhancing value for established user bases and introducing growth-oriented capabilities.

• Must be able to travel occasionally as business needs arise.
• Must meet critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication requirements.
• Must be capable of working more than 40 hours per week when required by business needs.
