Senior Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Spearhead collaboration across Engineering, Data Science, and domain teams.

• Propel product discovery amid unclear, multi-workstream initiatives by utilizing qualitative and quantitative insights.

• Oversee Agile product delivery, including setting goals, establishing priorities, managing trade-offs, defining scope, and handling backlog in both Scrum and Kanban settings.

• Assess build-versus-buy alternatives and suggest solutions that balance product requirements, timelines, and costs.

• Facilitate technical design discussions while taking into account performance, scalability, security, and architectural integrity.

• Synchronize development efforts, timelines, and deliverables among product owners, project managers, program managers, and scrum masters.

• Leverage data and evidence to prioritize tasks and evaluate results.

• Articulate product strategy, priorities, and roadmap while ensuring execution aligns with strategic goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, or a combination of relevant education and experience, or equivalent practical experience.

• Demonstrated experience collaborating directly with engineering, design, and QA teams.

• Capability to lead cross-functional teams, navigate complex multi-stakeholder environments, build consensus, and make timely decisions.

• Solid understanding of software development in at least two areas: cloud-based infrastructure, API/backend services, or data platforms/data science.

• Experience in utilizing AI to develop repeatable workflows that convert research, strategy, and execution into actionable results.

• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Comfort in effectively operating within a distributed work environment.

• Experience in constructing insurance platforms and knowledge of the policy lifecycle, integrations, data modeling, pricing, and underwriting.
