Product Manager – Sustainability

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in shaping the long-term product strategy and vision by leveraging customer feedback, market trends, research, and analysis.

• Contribute to the development of product value statements, performance metrics, and customer satisfaction feedback loops.

• Conduct market validation for released epics through customer interactions, interviews, and research efforts.

• Support the definition, prioritization, and refinement of the product backlog.

• Create epics, user stories, and comprehensive product requirements.

• Develop materials and recommendations for discussions surrounding product strategy and roadmap.

• Collaborate with the Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Services teams on product updates and go-to-market strategies.

• Offer product information and training support to the Sales and Services teams.

• Assess feature requests for feasibility, scope, and alignment with product objectives.

• Enhance implementation processes with the Services team.

• Leverage AI-enhanced capabilities, structured prompting, workflow automation, and agent-based systems to enhance product research and delivery.

• Assess AI-driven processes for drift, hallucinations, inefficiencies, and bias; and propose adjustments to prompts or workflows.

• Convert building energy and utility data into sustainability outcomes, including tasks related to Building Performance Standards and ESG metric verification.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in product management or related positions within the software industry.

• Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of related experience; or a relevant advanced degree without experience; or equivalent professional experience.

• Intermediate understanding of product management principles, customer needs, and organizational processes.

• Experience in contributing to product teams or assisting in product development activities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to apply guidelines, best practices, and analysis to moderately complex product tasks.

• Advanced prompting skills, including multi-step prompts with embedded logic, recursion, and context chaining.

• Proficiency in context engineering for both structured and unstructured inputs.

• Familiarity with transformer-based LLM architectures, attention mechanisms, tokenization, context windows, RAG, and model failure modes.

• Expertise in AI workflow automation, LLMs, or agentic systems.

• Knowledge of integrating LLMs with APIs, vector databases, or code execution environments.

• Ability to evaluate AI outputs for drift, hallucinations, bias, or inefficiencies.

• Experience utilizing AI tools for analytics, pattern detection, and predictive modeling.

• Proven track record of using AI to enhance efficiency, throughput, or quality.

• Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage workload effectively.

• Ability to maintain professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

• Willingness to travel domestically for client meetings, industry events, and company gatherings as needed.
