This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.

📋 Description

• Lead the vision and implementation of innovative new products.

• Develop, articulate, maintain, and share the product strategy and roadmap.

• Convert product strategy into comprehensive requirements.

• Perform market research to discern user needs for new products.

• Prioritize product opportunities based on research criteria and requirements.

• Establish high-level customer requirements for the user experience, including product features, target markets, and pricing.

• Comprehend and validate user needs utilizing Lean and UX design principles.

• Create and utilize wireframes to express new feature concepts.

• Formulate product and feature success metrics and identify areas for enhancements.

• Lead and engage in planning sessions while advising on product direction.

• Collaborate with customers, team members, and external influencers to grasp product developments and needs.

• Implement the product roadmap by directing product development priorities and integrating market, usage, competitive, and research insights into releases.

• Evaluate market competition, identify product gaps, address competitive threats, and secure a competitive edge.

• Resolve complex issues and identify viable solutions.

• Offer functional guidance or training to less experienced team members; may oversee a team.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience equivalent to it.

• 5-7 years of directly relevant experience in product or services development.

• Strong proficiency in Excel and Visio (or similar tools).

• Background in product development, requirements and risk analysis, pricing, planning, competitive analysis, as well as financial planning and strategy.

• Solid understanding of Agile, Lean, and UX Principles.

• Familiarity with consumer marketing analytics.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Capability to articulate complex concepts across the organization and to large audiences and clients.

• Strong decision-making abilities, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in building relationships and ensuring collaboration across the organization.

• Business acumen, strategic agility, capacity to develop others, influence outcomes and change, and negotiate for resources.

• Proven success in designing, developing, and executing complex projects.

• Ability to manage one's own workload, establish, and adhere to timelines.

• Competence in collaboratively engaging with leaders to create, identify, and implement solutions.

• Willingness to perform duties outside of standard work hours based on business requirements.
