This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Lead the vision and implementation of cutting-edge new products
• Develop, outline, sustain, and communicate the product strategy and roadmap
• Convert product strategy into comprehensive requirements
• Conduct market analysis to determine user requirements
• Prioritize product opportunities using established research criteria and requirements
• Define overarching customer requirements encompassing product features, target markets, and pricing
• Create product positioning and customer messaging
• Identify research needs to gather market insights
• Establish metrics for evaluating product and feature success, and identify areas for enhancement
• Lead and engage in planning sessions, providing guidance on product direction
• Collaborate with customers, team members, and external influencers to comprehend product needs and development
• Implement the product roadmap by steering product development priorities and evolution
• Integrate market activities, usage analysis, competitive responses, and market research into future product releases
• Evaluate market competition, identify product deficiencies, mitigate competitive threats, and secure a competitive edge
• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned
• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education and experience
• Over 7 years of directly relevant experience in product or services development
• Proven leadership capabilities
• Strong leadership presence, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to engage with stakeholders and all management levels
• Experience in product development, requirement and risk analysis, pricing, strategic planning, competitive analysis, and financial strategy
• Understanding of consumer marketing analytics
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the capacity to articulate complex concepts across the organization and to large groups
• Strong decision-making, creativity, and problem-solving abilities
• Capability to build relationships and foster collaboration across First American product companies
• High level of business acumen, strategic agility, and the ability to develop others, influence outcomes, navigate change, and negotiate for resources
• Proven success in designing, developing, and executing complex projects
• Ability to work collaboratively with leaders to create, identify, and implement solutions
