This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership and enhance the product vision and strategy in alignment with DIRTT’s business goals and market trends.
• Balance investments in products between innovation, platform sustainability, and lifecycle requirements.
• Act as the primary point of accountability for the category’s product across the organization.
• Create and sustain category roadmaps that clearly outline priorities, sequencing, and dependencies.
• Ensure that roadmap decisions align with capacity, commercial demands, and customer value.
• Collaborate across related product areas to achieve cohesive system-level results.
• Establish product practices that encompass discovery, requirements definition, backlog quality, and readiness for release.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Quality, and Operations throughout the entire NPI phase gate process and product lifecycle.
• Drive consensus on scope, priorities, and trade-offs while proactively addressing risks and challenges in delivery.
• Serve as the escalation point for product-related decisions within the category.
• Oversee New Product Introduction initiatives to ensure quality and predictable releases.
• Utilize customer feedback, usage data, market insights, industry trends, and competitive offerings to inform product decisions.
• Define and evaluate product performance metrics; manage risks related to delivery, quality, and market fit.
• Lead End-of-Life planning in collaboration with the EoL council.
• Manage Management of Change initiatives within the product line.
• Convey product direction, value, and roadmap intentions to internal teams and external partners.
• Support sales and marketing efforts through product education and enablement.
• Demonstrated product management experience within intricate building systems.
• Proven skills in roadmap development, prioritization, and cross-functional leadership.
• Strong and clear communication abilities that facilitate alignment and decision-making.
• Analytical, pragmatic, and customer-oriented approach to product management.
• 3 to 7 years of successful experience in developing and launching commercial physical products to the market.
• A degree in Business, Design Engineering, or an MBA transition.
• A solid understanding of pricing strategies, market positioning, and financial modeling (ROI, margins).
• Proficient at managing cross-functional launch plans that involve Design, Sales, Marketing, and Legal.
• Experience in owning a standalone product or a significant product variant.
• Ability to convert customer discoveries and market gaps into high-level Product Requirement Documents and multi-quarter roadmaps.
• Positions are safety-sensitive; pre-employment testing may be required.
