This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.
• Take responsibility for the success of product features from alignment and requirements to market launch and end-of-life.
• Implement the current roadmap while contributing to strategic planning for the future.
• Create products by engaging in customer empathy and discovery sessions with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and sustain the product and feature roadmap for Creator products in partnership with engineering and design teams.
• Work alongside engineering, marketing, sales, customer engagement, leadership, strategy, and other stakeholders to collect requirements and transform strategy into roadmaps.
• Convert product vision and roadmap into functional requirements, use cases, workflows, constraints, and success criteria.
• Guide the entire agile product development lifecycle from use cases to delivery, post-release, and end-of-life.
• Collaborate with senior management and executives to achieve unit objectives.
• Propel product innovation and advocate for the product direction.
• Ensure that release candidates fulfill product requirements.
• Maintain a data-driven product backlog and integrate market feedback.
• Perform feasibility analyses, develop business cases, and evaluate build/buy/partner options.
• Represent D2L's thought leadership at industry events.
• Strong business acumen combined with technical expertise.
• Proven experience in Product Management, encompassing product planning, market research, competitive analysis, product positioning, enablement, evangelism, and product marketing.
• Typically, 8+ years of experience in software product management.
• Demonstrated progress towards data-driven and measurable business outcomes.
• Ability to enable, inform, and communicate effectively with diverse teams across the organization.
• Capability to collaborate with development and design teams on features, prioritization, and defect resolution.
• Skill in creating strategy and vision for initiatives and experiences.
• Ability to develop roadmaps that align with the strategic vision.
• Proficiency in planning, prioritizing, and visualizing incremental slices.
• Experience in Go-To-Market planning.
• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence tools.
