Senior Product Manager – AI Innovation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the vision and strategy for a portfolio of projects at the crossroads of AI and Salsify's primary PXM platform.

• Rapidly transition from concepts to delivered value through experimentation and prototyping.

• Present strategic alternatives to leadership.

• Conduct discovery sessions with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

• Utilize AI in conjunction with customer interviews, competitive analysis, and usage data to gather insights.

• Establish hypotheses and success metrics, execute experiments and pilots, and determine what to scale.

• Collaborate with engineering and design peers to manage the product trio effectively.

• Cultivate relationships with Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, Solutions Advisory, Support, and R&D teams.

• Identify opportunities for cross-team collaboration and potential risks, providing insights to decision-makers.

• Keep senior leaders informed about status, progress, and obstacles.

• Deliver presentations to both internal and external audiences.

• Serve as the representative for the product area both within the organization and to customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in product management or equivalent experience responsible for outcomes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Proven product judgment, which includes strategic framing, evaluating trade-offs, and advocating a perspective to senior leadership.

• Practical experience with large language models (LLMs), agents, and AI tools.

• Hands-on experience in developing AI products.

• Expertise in leveraging AI for output optimization and fostering AI practices within a team.

• Proven ability to define hypotheses, establish success metrics, conduct pilots, and make informed, data-driven choices.

• History of leading discovery efforts with technical audiences and translating unclear feedback into actionable plans.

• Experience in prioritizing tasks across competing timelines.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with engineering teams and business stakeholders, both internally and externally.

• A record of successfully implementing cross-team or cross-company initiatives that positively impacted company-level metrics.

• Resilience and a proactive approach in uncertain situations.

• Authentic enthusiasm for AI and a history of transforming emerging technologies into significant customer value.
