Senior Product Manager, AI Infrastructure Capacity Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Lead the product strategy for resource planning, operational workflows, platform visibility, and infrastructure analytics.

• Convert product strategy into a structured roadmap and prioritized backlog that aligns with AI infrastructure objectives.

• Collaborate with engineering, operations, data analytics, product teams, and other cross-functional partners.

• Gain insights into user challenges and opportunities, translating their needs into delivered capabilities.

• Define features by outlining user stories, customer outcomes, technical specifications, and acceptance criteria.

• Manage the complete product development cycle from discovery to delivery and subsequent adoption.

• Establish metrics, dashboards, and insights to enhance decision-making, operational efficiency, and platform engagement.

• Specify future platform capabilities and create straightforward UI mockups, flows, or prototypes utilizing AI-assisted design tools.

• Collaborate with engineering on technical integrations, system limitations, reliability, scalability, and responsiveness.

• Identify risks early, address obstacles, cultivate trust across teams, and promote platform adoption.

⛳️ Requirements

• BS or MS (or equivalent experience) in engineering, computer science, management information systems, or another technical/quantitative discipline.

• Over 12 years of relevant experience.

• Proven history of developing customer-focused products, including direct engagement with users, internal stakeholders, or enterprise clients.

• Strong product intuition and capacity to identify high-value issues, devise coherent solutions, and make informed trade-offs among user experience, business value, and technical viability.

• Background in working directly with infrastructure, operations, or resource-centric products, such as allocation/quotas, observability, FinOps, or internal platforms.

• Experience driving the adoption of early-stage or evolving platform products that involve intricate cross-functional collaboration.

• Practical experience employing AI tools for data analysis, exploring product concepts, speeding up product workflows, or enhancing decision-making.

• Competence in creating simple mockups, flows, or prototypes using tools like Claude, Figma, Sketch, whiteboarding tools, or AI-assisted design software.

• Strong analytical mindset and communication abilities.

• Experience in defining metrics and leveraging data to inform prioritization and product decisions.

• High level of ownership, a robust work ethic, and a positive, collaborative, low-ego demeanor.

• Experience as a platform or infrastructure product manager in settings with numerous internal customers.

• Track record of developing internal tools or cross-functional operational platforms.

• Previous operational experience in infrastructure or capacity-related roles, such as operations or data center/cloud environments.

• Familiarity with cloud service providers and GPU/AI infrastructure.

• Prior experience in customer success, solutions engineering, or field-facing roles with infrastructure or platform products.
