Senior Product Manager – AEC Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more locations.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and enhance the product roadmap for key segments of Autodesk’s visualization solutions.

• Identify and rank high-impact opportunities by leveraging customer insights, product data, market context, technical capabilities, and Autodesk's strategic objectives.

• Lead intricate, cross-functional projects from the initial opportunity identification and product definition to delivery, adoption, measurement, and iterative improvements.

• Collaborate with engineering and design leaders to develop solutions for technically challenging visualization issues.

• Foster alignment across Autodesk product teams and facilitate the adoption of shared visualization functionalities.

• Convert intricate customer requirements into actionable product strategies, specifications, and decisions.

• Engage with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to comprehend workflows, validate direction, and discover opportunities.

• Establish success metrics and assess outcomes using both qualitative and quantitative indicators.

• Navigate dependencies and competing priorities, proactively identifying risks and clarifying unclear ownership or direction.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of product management experience, preferably in visualization, graphics, Contech, platform products, or other technically complex fields.

• Proven track record of owning significant product areas and influencing strategy and roadmaps in environments characterized by substantial ambiguity and technical complexity.

• Strong product acumen with the ability to connect customer challenges, technical opportunities, and business priorities effectively.

• Demonstrated history of leading complex cross-functional initiatives and achieving measurable customer and business results.

• Experience working closely with engineering and design teams on complex systems, platforms, APIs, or shared technology capabilities.

• Capability to think at both the platform and product levels.

• Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills across organizational boundaries without relying on direct authority.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong analytical skills with a background in defining and utilizing success metrics.

• Collaborative, low-ego mindset with comfort in working across distributed, global, and highly cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with 3D visualization, CAD/BIM, real-time graphics, rendering, game engines, or related technologies is a plus.

• Experience in building platform capabilities that are utilized by multiple products or development teams is advantageous.

• Background in the AEC, construction technology, or Design & Make sectors is beneficial.

• Experience with large-scale or high-performance graphical applications and complex 3D data is desirable.
