Senior Product Designer, UX, UI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create digital health solutions that empower individuals to lead healthier lives and engage in their treatment management.

• Organize and oversee user research involving patients, healthcare professionals, and various stakeholders.

• Work alongside Product Managers to identify and prioritize pertinent user and customer challenges.

• Convert qualitative and quantitative findings into actionable product opportunities.

• Validate ideas through interviews, prototypes, and usability assessments.

• Design seamless end-to-end experiences for both web and mobile platforms.

• Develop user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces.

• Balance user requirements with business objectives, as well as clinical, regulatory, and technical stipulations.

• Collaborate closely with Engineering during the implementation phase to ensure the quality of the final product experience.

• Employ usability engineering principles and contribute to the documentation for regulated medical device software.

• Take into account accessibility, patient safety, and regulatory standards.

• Work with Clinical and Regulatory teams to translate complex requirements into user-friendly experiences.

• Enhance the design system and ensure uniformity across products and platforms.

• Streamline complete user journeys and service experiences.

• Partner with Product, Engineering, Clinical, and Regulatory teams as a product collaborator.

• Lead workshops and collaborative discovery and design sessions.

• Articulate design decisions effectively and convincingly.

• Mentor and provide feedback to fellow designers.

• Evolve design processes and improve working methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in designing intricate digital products from discovery to delivery.

• Outstanding skills in UX, interaction, and visual design.

• Strong understanding of product strategy and thinking.

• Experience in planning and conducting user research.

• Proven ability to translate qualitative and quantitative insights into clear product direction.

• Evidence-based approach to enhancing usability and user outcomes.

• Experience in cross-functional collaboration.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Comfortable with ambiguity and skilled at structuring complex challenges.

• Proficient in both German and English (C1 level) is essential.

• Advanced skills in Figma and modern prototyping tools.

• Experience with regulated healthcare or medical device products, along with familiarity with DiGA, MDR, BfArM, IEC 62366, or ISO 13485 (desirable).

• Experience in behavioral design or behavior change (desirable).

• Background in further developing design systems (desirable).

• Active engagement with AI tools and workflows (desirable).
