This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of significant aspects of the RapidFort enterprise security platform, guiding it from problem identification to software delivery.
• Create comprehensive workflows for risk assessment, remediation, governance, and reporting.
• Revamp detailed vulnerability lists, image and workload inventories, cluster views, risk summaries, and operational dashboards.
• Enhance the navigation of extensive datasets utilizing tables, filters, search functionalities, comparison tools, hierarchies, visualizations, and drill-down options.
• Establish information architecture and interaction models throughout the platform.
• Design roles, permissions, organizations, environments, policies, onboarding processes, auditing, reporting, and administrative experiences.
• Tailor designs for security practitioners, developers, platform engineers, administrators, and executives.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams on discovery, prototyping, implementation, and ensuring high-quality deliveries.
• Engage in customer discussions, usability sessions, and product discovery initiatives.
• Leverage qualitative feedback, product analytics, and behavioral data to inform design decisions.
• Develop and refine components, patterns, and interaction standards within the design system.
• Utilize AI tools for research, exploration, prototyping, content creation, and iterative design processes.
• Assist in defining AI and agent-driven workflows for RapidFort.
• Collaborate with Marketing on website experiences, product launches, campaigns, diagrams, visuals, and storytelling.
• Ensure consistency across product interfaces, website, presentations, and sales materials.
• Direct external agencies, contractors, or specialists when necessary.
• Contribute to the establishment of design processes and potentially lead the design team.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory due to the role's involvement with federal government projects.
• Over 5 years of experience in product design.
• Extensive background in complex B2B, enterprise, platform, developer, infrastructure, data, or operational products.
• A portfolio showcasing shipped product work, particularly involving intricate workflows and data-intensive interfaces.
• Strong systems thinking abilities.
• Exceptional skills in interaction design, information architecture, UX, and visual design.
• Experience in designing products that require users to comprehend and act on large volumes of information.
• Ability to simplify technically complex ideas while retaining essential details.
• Strong product judgment and the confidence to question requirements.
• Experience collaborating directly and iteratively with Product Managers and Engineers.
• Capability to work independently without a large design organization or overly detailed requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, including components, variables, design systems, responsive layouts, and prototypes.
• Regular practical use of modern AI tools in the design workflow.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
