This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Analyze customer feedback, conduct research, gather product data, and understand business context to pinpoint opportunities and set priorities.
• Develop and rigorously evaluate product ideas in collaboration with the product and engineering teams.
• Take ownership of concepts through the entire process, including flows, functional prototypes, production-ready interfaces, launch, and initial iterations.
• Create high-fidelity prototypes that incorporate realistic data and interactions.
• Utilize AI tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar to prototype and iterate alongside engineers.
• Implement principles of information architecture, interaction design, visual hierarchy, content strategy, accessibility, responsive design, and edge-case scenarios.
• Coordinate with partners, identify risks, and balance user value with feasibility and delivery limitations.
• Establish metrics for success and leverage qualitative and quantitative data to inform iterations post-launch.
• Contribute to shared design patterns, offer constructive feedback, and mentor fellow team members.
• Report directly to the Head of Product Design.
• 5-8+ years of experience in product design.
• A portfolio showcasing your design process, individual contributions, and rationale behind significant decisions.
• Demonstrated experience in taking a product or major feature from concept to launch.
• Proficiency in interaction and visual design, including comprehensive flows that extend beyond the happy path, accessibility considerations, and reusable components.
• Strong instincts for product development and a customer-centric approach to ideation.
• Practical experience in prototyping with Figma and at least one AI coding tool (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar).
• Familiarity with design systems employed across multiple teams, including AI products, marketing workflows, or intricate enterprise software.
• Experience with implementing design changes through GitHub pull requests and collaborating with engineers during code reviews.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with product and engineering teams.
• Ability to utilize research and data to make informed design choices.
