Senior Process Design Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create process engineering deliverables, which include Heat and Material Balances, PFDs, P&IDs, equipment lists, and preliminary equipment datasheets.

• Conduct hydraulic calculations.

• Prepare, review, and verify engineering calculations, designs, drawings, and project documents.

• Serve as a technical liaison to provide customer support.

• Assist in business development for new and expanded client opportunities.

• Enhance the process safety functions offered to clients.

• Oversee and evaluate engineering proposals, scopes of work, project schedules, and cost estimates.

• Develop and enforce engineering policies, standards, and procedures.

• Evaluate discipline industry codes and standards, and maintain or upgrade technical standards and specifications.

• Foster the company's safety culture through safety engagements and compliance audits, including employee training and site visit checklists.

• Report directly to the Process Engineering Design Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in process design.

• Comprehensive knowledge in heavy industrial engineering projects, including chemicals, downstream/midstream oil and gas, and power generation.

• Proficiency with process simulation software and engineering electronic tools.

• Strong understanding and skills in current computer software, including general MS Office applications and design & business enterprise software.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Capability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

• Willingness to travel domestically on occasion.

• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.

• Must pass a post-offer drug (including marijuana) and alcohol test in compliance with Federal regulations.
