This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and manage portfolios for lending services.
• Assist banking, lending, and relationship-management professionals.
• Engage in proactive credit analysis, structuring, decision-making, and portfolio oversight.
• Create business proposals, client presentations, meeting materials, account-opening documents, and client correspondence.
• Address client inquiries and concerns while supporting sales and service efforts.
• Suggest workflow enhancements to improve efficiency and service quality.
• Evaluate risk, financial, and profitability ratings and assessments.
• Analyze data to generate insights and recommendations.
• Track performance and manage issues as they arise.
• Design and produce both regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards.
• Implement and oversee procedural and policy modifications.
• Manage operational audits and controls effectively.
• Oversee credit, non-credit, lending, and associated accounts.
• Establish and maintain accounts, collateralization, and documentation.
• Facilitate funding or underwrite loan applications, providing recommendations as necessary.
• Verify and process loan drawdowns efficiently.
• Monitor overdrafts, covenant tests, collateral, renewals, registrations, expirations, and lending documentation.
• Identify and escalate any irregularities or discrepancies.
• Collect applicable fees in a timely manner.
• Participate in audits and compliance assessments.
• Comply with ethical standards, security measures, fraud prevention, anti-money laundering, regulatory, and risk management guidelines.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
• Generally requires 4–6 years of pertinent experience.
• A post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Credit Qualification must align with established credit qualification processes, policies, and procedures.
• Experience in Commercial Loan and Underwriting within a financial services context.
• Comprehensive knowledge of personal and commercial credit and non-credit products, as well as monitoring/operational processes and applications.
• Thorough understanding of loan and security documentation, including registration and renewal procedures.
• Technical skills developed through education and/or business experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong collaboration and teamwork capabilities.
• Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective influencing skills.
• Strong data-driven decision-making abilities.
• Federal registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry is required for U.S. consumer loan originators.
• A criminal background check and credit history evaluation are mandatory.
