Senior Principal Therapy Development Rep, Carotid

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana.

📋 Description

• Promote the adoption of innovative therapies while enhancing sales and market share within the designated territory.

• Provide training, education, and in-servicing for new Vascular products.

• Establish new accounts and encourage the adoption of carotid and other novel therapies and products.

• Organize, plan, and oversee territory administration, expenses, and compliance.

• Educate medical personnel on new procedures and products.

• Achieve sales targets, account development goals, and management expectations.

• Activate new accounts and foster the adoption of Vascular technologies.

• Collaborate with the Vascular Field Team to launch new accounts.

• Create and implement continuous sales and market development strategies.

• Identify, assess, and convert target accounts.

• Manage expenses while complying with financial, regulatory, quality, and company policies.

• Lead account-level targeting, engagement, and understanding of the VAC process.

• Identify, train, and support physician champions through Local, IDN, and GPO VAC processes.

• Adhere to approved pricing and GPO/IDN contracting strategies.

• Cultivate relationships with decision-makers, customers, administrators, and Key Opinion Leaders.

• Share insights on market trends and best practices with the Vascular Field organization.

• Understand customer requirements, address objections, secure commitments, and finalize business deals.

• Prepare and present sales and product demonstrations.

• Educate clients on new product features and benefits.

• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly.

• Coordinate with physicians on case planning, manage expectations, and enhance outcomes.

• Engage in clinical discussions regarding therapy and product benefits.

• Conduct business in alignment with ethical standards, compliance, and FDA regulations.

• Collaborate with marketing, customer service, finance, and other internal departments.

• Relay market intelligence, competitor activities, leads, pricing, and account details to sales management.

• Update launch dashboards weekly, utilizing tools like Tableau, Salesforce, and Opportunity Funnel.

• Maintain and enhance technical and clinical knowledge of products.

• Understand competitive products and their advantages.

• Participate in product and skills enhancement programs.

• Stay informed about the reimbursement landscape.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 12+ years of relevant experience, OR an Associate’s Degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, OR a Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.

• Relevant experience in sales, clinical roles, or related fields within medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.

• Willingness to travel at least 60% of the time.

• Previous sales representative experience with Neuroguard and substantial knowledge of vascular devices.

• At least 8 years of experience in selling medical devices/therapies in hospital/OR environments or in medical capital equipment, with a proven history of successful product launches.

• Proven track record in sales hunting and developing new accounts, significantly impacting market penetration for innovative technologies.

• In-depth understanding of protocols and practices in operating rooms, hospitals, and physician offices.

• Proficient in teaching, training, and educating medical staff, peers, and technical support teams on new devices and therapies.

• Consistently high performance (Top 10%), with recognitions such as President’s Club or equivalent awards.

• Demonstrated capability to proactively pursue and secure new business opportunities.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science or Business is preferred.

• For degrees obtained outside the U.S., a qualification fulfilling 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is mandatory at the time of hire and throughout employment for positions below the Principal level.
