Physical Therapist Assistant – Home Health

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Provide tailored home health physical therapy services aimed at enhancing functional capabilities.

• Implement the physical therapy treatment plan in patients' residences as designed by the Physical Therapist.

• Conduct both active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, alongside techniques such as massage, traction, heat, light, cold, water, and electrical modalities.

• Maintain client records and deliver clinical documentation to the office on a weekly basis.

• Participate in educational meetings and facilitate department in-services.

• Inform the Physical Therapist or Branch Director regarding any equipment malfunctions, supply deficiencies, or changes involving staff or clients.

• Employ infection control methods and universal precautions while attending to patients.

• Serve patients located in Montgomery, Cheatham, and Robertson Counties.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active state license to practice Physical Therapy.

• Valid driver's license.

• Auto insurance and dependable transportation.

• Current CPR certification.

• Proven experience working collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals.

• In-depth understanding of the physical, emotional, social, and biological changes affecting the geriatric population.

• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.

• At least one year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant (preferred).

• Reside in or near Montgomery, Cheatham, or Robertson County (preferred).

• TB screening required if selected.

• Maintain personal vehicle liability insurance in line with state minimum requirements or specified limits.
