This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Deliver individual and family therapy to designated clients.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with clients.
• Diagnose and address mental health disorders.
• Develop and revise personalized treatment plans.
• Meet with patients regularly and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Coordinate and arrange services for individual clients.
• Conduct ongoing evaluations of patient progress.
• Involve and counsel family members when appropriate.
• Refer clients to external specialists or agencies as required.
• Maintain comprehensive records of client meetings and progress.
• Adhere to safety protocols and uphold client confidentiality.
• Communicate with outpatient providers to ensure seamless continuity of care.
• Attend weekly staff and treatment team meetings.
• Create weekly individualized therapeutic and experiential activities.
• Conduct concurrent insurance evaluations.
• Advocate for mental health parity.
• Engage in community-based speaking events to raise awareness about eating disorders.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Must be fully licensed and capable of working independently.
• Must hold a license in South Carolina.
• Willingness and capability to obtain licensure in one or more of AL, FL, GA, NC, and SC when requested.
• Must not be opted out of Medicare.
• Experience in treating clients with Eating Disorders.
• Understanding of models and theories related to eating disorders, trauma, mental illness, and associated issues.
• Knowledge of treatment, recovery, relapse prevention, and continuing care for dually diagnosed populations.
• Familiarity with diagnostic criteria for co-occurring conditions and placement criteria within the continuum of care.
• Understanding of diverse cultures and gender-specific matters.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Capability to prioritize workload and work autonomously.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliable internet access.
• Comfort with operating a computer and smartphone, including navigating macOS and iOS applications.
• Ability to communicate via chat, telephone, and video calls.
• Capability to sit for the majority of the shift.
• Ability to work in a private, quiet environment with minimal background noise.
