Bilingual Independent Mental Health Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Provide remote counseling and therapy services through telemedicine to patients at Community Health Centers.

• Offer evidence-based individual and group therapy, actively involving patients in their treatment plans.

• Review and authorize psychosocial assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, and consents promptly.

• Maintain clinic records and document services and patient activities in accordance with clinical, contractual, regulatory, and legal standards.

• Conduct crisis interventions for individuals and families based on established safety plans.

• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team in case planning to determine suitable patient disposition.

• Engage in individual and group supervision.

• Complete ongoing education, in-services, training, post-testing, and skill assessments.

• Provide case management services to facilitate recovery and community reintegration.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bilingual Licensed Therapist or Counselor (LPC, LCSW, LMFT).

• Active, unrestricted mental health license in both the state of primary residence and the state where services are provided.

• Clinician must possess an active license or be willing to obtain one in Arizona, Oregon, or Washington, in addition to holding a license in their primary residence.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (Required).

• Comfortable with working in a remote setting.

• Patient-first approach.

• Knowledge of evidence-based therapy practices, including CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, Psychoeducation, Trauma Therapy, Addiction Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Bereavement/Grief Counseling.

• Ability to sit for extended periods during work hours.

• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for operating a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.

• Adequate vision for reading computer screens and documents.

• Clear verbal and written communication skills for virtual meetings and correspondence.

• Sufficient hearing capability to participate in phone calls or virtual meetings.

• Access to a quiet, dedicated workspace with reliable internet connectivity.

• Successful completion of comprehensive background checks and drug screenings as a condition of employment.
