This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee a purchasing queue for Circuit Card Assemblies and Electronic Assemblies from key suppliers.
• Assist with proposal activities and fulfill active program requirements.
• Handle the purchase order process from RFQ and quote analysis through to price justification, negotiations, order placement, supplier delivery scheduling, and invoicing.
• Develop strategies to minimize costs, enhance efficiency, and mitigate risks through effective negotiations.
• Negotiate terms and conditions, which include Non-Disclosure Agreements, Subcontract Terms and Conditions, and Teaming Agreements.
• Manage subcontract performance to ensure compliance with public law, corporate policies, business procedures, and import/export regulations.
• Identify and finalize subcontracts.
• Collaborate with program management, material program management, contracts, security, and legal departments.
• Assess and monitor supplier quality, reliability, and delivery capabilities in conjunction with the quality organization.
• Evaluate supplier performance and apply sound business practices.
• Ensure the provision of appropriate documentation and that proper receipt is recorded.
• Manage and cultivate strategic/key suppliers.
• Support Northrop Grumman’s defense, technology, and engineering initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, supply chain, business, or a related field with 8 years of relevant procurement experience; or a master’s degree in these areas with 6 years of related procurement experience; or a high school diploma with 12+ years of relevant procurement experience.
• Previous experience in procurement/subcontracts.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFAR requirements.
• Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
• Preferred: proven management/leadership skills.
• Preferred: strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Preferred: proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Preferred: experience with Costpoint, SAP, or other ERP purchasing systems.
• Preferred: knowledge of various contract types, including T&M, cost reimbursable, and FFP.
• Preferred: experience with international/foreign procurements and policies.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
