Senior Application Consultant, Supply Chain Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Comprehend the performance challenges faced by customers and assist in addressing intricate supply chain management issues.

• Offer expert advice by integrating Kinaxis product solutions.

• Serve as the functional lead on projects implementing Maestro supply chain software.

• Facilitate sessions to uncover business requirements for complex, multi-phase implementations.

• Collaborate with Solution Architects on process design and technical strategy.

• Execute advanced product configurations tailored to customer requirements and approved architecture.

• Manage troubleshooting and resolution for intricate configuration challenges.

• Utilize mathematical models, optimization techniques, and AI algorithms in supply chain planning scenarios.

• Validate and test solutions, gather user feedback, and suggest resolutions for escalations and obstacles.

• Conduct deployment workshops and educate customers on configured solutions.

• Provide technical guidance to Associate, Entry, and Intermediate Solution Consultants.

• Mentor junior consultants throughout the entire project lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of extensive experience in software implementation or deployment within supply chain planning or execution, or relevant business experience in supply planning, demand planning, inventory management, or manufacturing.

• 2 to 3 years of experience in a functional leadership role concerning system configuration or deployments.

• 2 to 3 years of experience in designing business processes for supply chain software implementations.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and critical-thinking skills.

• Proven leadership capabilities and a successful track record with customers and executive sponsors.

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, matrixed environment.

• Capacity to articulate complex concepts effectively in both verbal and written forms.

• Advanced knowledge and practical application of supply chain best practices, including forecasting, MRP, Constraint Management, and Production Scheduling.

• Proficiency in leading intricate business requirements gathering sessions.

• Familiarity with supply chain processes and manufacturing planning solutions such as Maestro, SAP, Oracle, or Blue Yonder.

• Proficient in SQL, R, and/or JavaScript.

• Willingness to travel 50% on average and up to 75% occasionally, including remote work from client locations.
